Cat in the Hat

Cat in the Hat,  was my creation for this week,  had fun making it .  Did not have to bake the cake and decorate it but I have been given a photo that I want to share with you , the mom who made the cake did such a good job.  Will have to give it a try sometime soon.  Really looked good,  let me know what you think

80th Birthday Celebration for a special lady in my life

Celebrated a very special birthday today with a very special lady,  Made Pink and White cup cakes with 80 on them  . 

This week have not had any cakes to make , but have received future orders,  a cat in the hat figurine and a Happy Feet cake and cup cakes.  Well will be working on them next week.  Looking forward to doing them.  I also have added egg free cupcakes to my list of things I make, gluten free are next.

 Really had fun making this cake.  A bit stressful ,  but very pleased with the end result.

Upside down Zoo Figurines.

I had a little boy ask his mom to please get me to make his animals for his birthday cake.  He wanted an Upside Down Zoo - he wanted 4 animals but he wanted different heads on different bodies.  He also wanted specific animals, Lion , Giraffe, Rhino and Zebra.  So this is what I came up with.  Thanks Gareth for the order my little friend hope you have a wonderful party.

Well first order is now complete,  cant wait to deliver so I can upload pictures.  Will finish figurines for 2nd order tonight and work on the cake and 3rd order tomorrow afternoon.  So enjoying making the figurines this week. 

Well that was a busy week of baking.  Ended up making 5 cakes to make up the 3 orders that I had.  I am happy to say all the customers loved their cakes, and my little customer loved his Micky Mouse biscuits. 

This week I have 2 new Challenges.  Will post pics once the Cake and figurines have been delivered.  Have also been asked to make some other figurines for end of the month , also all first time ones.  So am going to be very busy again this week.  Love it.  Thanks to everyone for all their support.

Kit Kat Cake for Jayne and Shaun

Wow  what a week ,  but very happy with my cakes so far tonight.  I have made a cake for friends of ours who will finished the Mountain bike ride from Johannesburg to Scottburgh.  They have really done so well and we are all very proud of Jayne and Shaun.
